As a Senior Associate with 8 years experience in the accounting industry, Yi utilizes her professional skills as a CPA to work with her client’s specific situation and customize her expertise to suit their taxation and accounting requirements. Detail and solution focused, Yi first joined the Adrians team in 2005 subsequent to her 2 ½ years as a management accountant in private enterprise.

Yi has a double degree in Commerce and Information Technology as well as being a Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA).

One of the best things about working at Adrians is the dedication to putting the clients first. This has created a team of enthusiastic professionals who are constantly striving to help the clients achieve their goals.

As a member of the Adrians team, I enjoy advising and assisting wide variety clients to take their business from the initial start-up phase through to creating a sustainable structure. My key focus as Senior Associate is to provide a comprehensive range of taxation and business services ensuring clients have a strong foundation upon which to grow.

When not working with clients my time is devoted to my young family, researching family history and trolling through photos. I enjoy meeting people and hearing the stories of how they come to be on this path in their life.

Faisal joined Adrians as an accountant in September 2008 after completing a Bachelor of Commerce degree at the University of Queensland, St Lucia. Since joining the firm, Faisal has developed a broad range of proficiencies in the accounting profession and is a qualified Chartered Accountant.

As a Client Manager, Faisal’s professional interests range from assisting clients with management and strategic affairs to developing opportunities for client group structures. He has also taken a keen interest in self-managed superannuation funds.

On the personal front, Faisal enjoys participating in community development projects at his Muslim community’s local community centre. He also has a special interest in both learning and teaching the Arabic language.

Andrew first joined Adrians as part of the ‘Ready to Work Program’ in July 2008 after completing a Bachelor of Business degree at the Queensland University of Technology. 

Now a Client Manager, Andrew enjoys working with a variety of small to medium sized businesses.

Eve joined Adrians in November 2005 as a Client Manager. Prior to moving to Brisbane, Eve worked at a Gold Coast accounting firm specializing in taxation and audit. She has completed a Diploma of Accounting, Bachelor of Business and is a qualified Chartered Accountant. Eve has worked in public practice since 2002 and her experience includes the provision of business, accounting, taxation and auditing services to a broad range of clients.

When our clients decide to build their own businesses, they embark on a journey – a business journey, and I enjoy being a part of their journeys.

After gaining knowledge in the fields of Accounting, Economics and Finance from university, I started my professional career with Adrians. Over the years, I’ve been lucky enough to work with some successful SME business clients, who are not only hardworking but very passionate about what they do. My job is not just crunching some numbers, preparing tax returns or financial reports; it is about helping our clients to grow their businesses by explaining what the numbers mean, offering professional recommendations, assisting them in better managing their businesses. Seeing our clients achieve their goals is what makes my job truly rewarding.

When I’m not working in the office, I’m out exploring the world. I love to travel, to see the world, experience different cultures, try different cuisines, and learn something new.

Regina joined the Adrians team in April 2007 as a Client Services Officer for Jim's team and completed her degree in mid 2009. She is now working with the accounting team as a graduate accountant. Prior to moving to Brisbane Regina worked for four years at a Gold Coast Coast firm specialising in tax and audit.

Regina has completed a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting and Business Law at the University of Southern Queensland in Toowoomba and is currently completing a post graduate degree with the Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Her experience includes provision of accounting, taxation and auditing services to a broad range of clients and entities.

Natasha joined Adrians as a graduate accountant in 2012. She has completed a double degree program at QUT, studying business and psychology.

Working at Adrians is an exciting opportunity to explore the intersection of these two very different disciplines.

I had just graduated from Queensland University of Technology with a major in Accounting when I joined the Adrians team in July 2012.

Since then I have been given the opportunity to work with such a supportive and positive group of people that I constantly enjoy coming in to work each and every day. 

It is also refreshing that no day here at the office is the same. I get to experience a variety of clients and new opportunities that allow me to constantly be learning and applying my knowledge to help with issues that affect our clients.

In my spare time you will find me on the footy field, catching up with friends, watching movies or doing anything that keeps me active.

Jacky started with the firm in 2009 as a graduate accountant. He has completed a Commerce degree at the University of London and is in the progress of obtaining Chartered Accountant qualification.

He is specialized in areas including taxation of individuals, companies, partnership and trusts.

He is also responsible in dealing with ASIC for all business registration and administration issues

My role at Adrians is to help individuals and small businesses make their dreams reality and gain great results from their hard work.

I enjoy working at Adrians because it means I am exposed to many different types of clients and their businesses and I am constantly learning something new every day. I enjoy the challenges of a tough question from our clients and finding the solution to help them build their businesses with the right answers.

I graduated from the Queensland University of Technology in 2010 with a Bachelor of Business majoring in Accountancy. Whilst studying at university, I gained valuable experience working in taxation and audit building on the basics which helped me become the accountant I am today. I am currently completing the post graduate degree with the Institute of Chartered Accountants to become a Chartered Account.

Outside of work and study, I enjoy practicing and competing in competitions in my dance sport, baking, spending time with family and friends and cheering on my favourite football team. 

The working culture at Adrians is one of the best reasons to work here. We always give others a helping hand in times of need. Whether that relates to a trick in using software, specialised knowledge of tax law or something as simple as filling up the kettle for that next person's cup of tea! 

This prevailing culture allows us to work more efficiently and effectively. Most importantly, it makes Adrians a happier and easier workplace for everyone!

Life is my passion. I firmly believe in living each day to its fullest. Having competed in events such as Tough Mudder, and am an avid Futsal player, my life outside of the office is never dull.

However, when I’m not scoring goals on the Futsal court, I’m scoring goals for our clients. In the office I’m dedicated to meeting our client’s demands. With a dual degree in Law and Commerce, and over 4 years experience working in a law firm, I believe I bring a new angle to the usual work we do. I made the decision to switch from law to accounting when starting at Adrians in mid 2012. I’m a firm believer in not limiting oneself to a single vocation and will combine my legal and accounting experience to progress forward in the future.

With the intention of embarking on my Chartered Accountant studies in the very near future, and a long term goal of completing my Practical Legal Training and being admitted to the legal profession as an Australian lawyer, I will tackle every obstacle in life and use all experiences to learn and grow, while also striving to inspire those around me to do the same.

Adrians is Family. My colleagues at Adrians are like my family. We work, eat and play together. I enjoy laughing and storytelling around the lunchroom table, morning teas and all the fun staff bonding we do together.

The most rewarding part of working at Adrians is the sense of achievement and self satisfaction that comes with seeing the accountants produce work to final stages and then being able to take part in the final stages of preparing documents. It is rewarding and it makes me proud to be a part of such a family oriented company. As a company we care about clients, the workplace and about each other.

I joined Adrians in March 2013 as a recent graduate of Brisbane Girl's Grammar School. I have a range of exciting roles at Adrians. In a single day I could go from assisting with the archiving effort to planning and coordinating Adrians events. I really enjoy the diversity of the tasks at hand and the sense of achievement I feel when a day's work is completed.

I plan to study a Bachelor of Psychology/Bachelor of Justice double degree at Queensland University of Technology in the coming years.

In my spare time I enjoy making and decorating cakes, playing hockey, reading crime novels and spending time with my cat.

Gene joined Adrians in 1998 as Adrians Business Manager. Throughout this time his role has evolved to encompass a broad range of responsibilities that contribute significantly to the administrative and internal business operations of the firm.

Gene also manages the administrative components relating to IT Management and Human Resources within the firm.

Gene has a Bachelor of Business.

I have been with Adrians since February 2007 as a member of the Practice Management team.

My duties include accounts-coordination, liaising with clients, processing payments and debt maintenance. I also have an active role in the general administrative area of the practice.

My interests are in personal health and well being. Family is the most important part of my life. I love bush walking, practicing yoga, and playing with my cute granddaughter.
